Its annoying cause there is lets say, a group of 3 people all at a farm. someone (who is not in the group) needs to use it. the damage is exclusive to that group and that group only. the person who needs it cant get what they need. forcing them to buy or find whatever they are looking for.
I'd argue that the long, long standing rule that the person at the farm already gets preference unless AFK should take effect, maybe just wait for the farm to be free?
the custom usually, is that a group is made for the purpose of sharing the xp, as noone loses any xp and more items can be reapaired faster. perhaps you (or they) were unaware of this?
