Is your dog intolerant to anything?? What is the dog on now?

I haven't noticed any intolerances. Right now, I'm switching his food from a Pet's Barn brand kibble to Fromm kibble. I think Fromm is a good food, but I really want to find something without meal! I've read it isn't made up of the best stuff.

My dog was on Fromm lamb and lentil! She really loved it. I topped it with raw frozen. Recently switched to lamb and rice from natural balance. It's the grain inclusive without any thing she's intolerant too. I'll try and find a direct link!

I believe meal from proteins is just the protein minus the moisture

What's the raw frozen you were topping it with? Also, after some digging, it seems that higher-quality meals are the protein w/o moisture, like you said, but lower-grade stuff comes from slaughter house scraps and zoo animals?! It seems that food that you're feeding is some pretty good stuff, though. I'll have to look into it!

I switched between instinct lamb or primal of multiple proteins :)
