You gather information and find out there was a accomplice to the main culprit who hid the evidence that linked the crime committed on you to the culprit. Then before the evidence could be evaluated, the accomplice haphazardly destroys the evidence to protect the main culprit.
Later it turns out the main culprit deceived the accomplice, and was going so far as to murder them for not handing over/destroying the evidence sooner. Then 3 years later, that same accomplice was a coworker to that person who was closest to you, they were expected to meet with them along with that persons sister...
The accomplice shows up late, and then discovers the murder. Ultimately the accomplice catches the persons murderer and they are arrested. 2 years pass, you meet with this accomplice and find his personality is more on the cheery, carefree, semi-forgetful side.
Your condition was a result of being poisoned just under the lethal amount. Your central nervous system was heavily damaged, causing constant pain and perpetual blindness, though thanks to technical advancements your sight is well, mostly restored. Your appearance ends up changing to a certain degree. Your quality of life isn't great, and your probably not gonna live for a very long time.
You have no person to consult your problems with, and due to all the pressure of your situation, you can't just force yourself to forget the events. My question is, what would you do in this situation?
