(2/3) I've lost countless friends from traveling so much, my father was deployed to Afganistan about 3 times, and we've had to spend a year with our family split in half 100 miles apart.
(3/4) I've had so little experiences compared to the veterans i've met from all ages of the Army's history back to WWII. My father works at one of the top museums in the world and we have met so many different people who have served and lost everything.
(4/4) From the bottom of my heart, thanks to everyone who has served and their families (and save those cardboard moving boxes, they're the most useful thing you'll ever have in your home!).
P.S. I'm currently 14, and i've had to move 7 total schools in my life. New Orleans, LA and Springfield, VA are the only two places that i have spent more than 1 consecutive year living in. I was born in Canada during an exchange.
