I misread the article. The people let go are paid through the end of the year. That's a pretty sweet deal considering. Since the company is keeping a core team it sounds like they want to change direction and couldn't do it while retaining a full staff.
OK correcting myself...there WAS an article posted saying the staff received no severance, but a second article claims the staff did receive it. I'm a little confused. :)
