I LOVE winter, but it's a lot more fun when I can visit somewhere with snow. I enjoy ice-skating, and there's nothing quite like a nice cup of hot chocolate while looking at the beautiful sparkling world outside :D
Fall is pretty cool too, because like you mentioned, Halloween and Thanksgiving ;) I didn't get candy at every house last year though, but my siblings did D:
Fall and Winter for me. Love the leaves changing colors and the eventual dead look the trees and plants give for when Halloween shows up. And I love Halloween so :P For Winter I like the snow and the cold. Always nice to look out the winter and just watch the snow fall heavily. So peaceful and quiet.
Fall. Summers too hot, winters got too much snow, springs ok, but fall weather makes any activity better. Plus, it’s the lead up to the best holidays.

I love to go skating, my dad used to make a homemade ice-rink but now its just too much work and because of global warming its just not worth the hassle because it doesnt get cold enough to keep it frozen.
Winter is awesome until you get the "freeze." Massive power outages, tree branches breaking off... it's just scary when the ice builds up so much weight and you hear branches cracking all night. Last year we had a massive branch fall on our "mini-tree"
