I definitely still hold my resentment and distaste towards auctions and their effect on the EMC market, even though with the recent changes that loosened the restrictions on items. As for the server in general, I seriously doubt it will collapse, as some staff said, the server at its core is survival based PVE with economy elements.
If EMC survival was dependent on auctions then there was nothing substantial here to start with. Every update, rule change, etc. brings the 'death of EMC' lol We'll be more then fine. As to your first post, auctions are just as prominent as before the rule change.
why do people keep saying that auctions are still as prevalent when there aren't half as many? *rolls eyes* It is not rule changes, definitely not this one specifically, that are driving players away from EMC. It is accumulating a bunch of unnecessary rules that in no way improve the server.
Half as many? If you mean the auction section is far less busy that is because we are actively keeping it tidy and less jumbled. There has been as many as before just now with a cleaner section.
