You know that google ads are based off your searches and browsing history right?

except I've never searched dating sites in my life, nor any sort of website to "date christian singles in my area"

obviously not. But something you have visited has made you a target for those types of ads.
the whole point of ads is to get new visitors that haven't previously visited or use the service.

To be honest, the ads I used to get on EMC were pretty disturbing and deviate very far from anything I've ever searched. Every other site hits it head on, EMC ads seem to be random though.

I often come across ads for "date Asian women" etc. Now I'm curious as to what I've visited to make me a target for those ads xD
