yes it is, modding is short for modifying, which is synonymous to changing; editing.
and I've never had a world become corrupt after updating this type of mod. with forge (as well as other mod loaders) every time I update and load a world, the world corrupts, so the way I see it, this is the best way to mod!
I've never made mods nor am I aware of how to. I only have knowledge on plugins. Plus, I'm not pursuing programming of games anymore. I've decided to go for being a game designer or modeller.
well Irma totaled the drive they were on via surges... but I remember a few. there was an RPG I made a while ago called "the legend of the toaster", it was a purple shep fan game I was making. I wanted to finish it eventually, but it's gone :/.
you play as Purple Shep, and you have a team of 5 other characters. you have to journey across decaying worlds to get to the villain (whom I never finished making), who has learned of the power of toasters (that purple shep has been aware of (the whole reason why he sticks his head in toasters)) to destroy the universe. as you can see, cheesy as explodingTNT's closet! lol :D
I didn't release it, I had finished the tech test, and had started the pre-alpha... and then I took a break and my game is now a casualty of a hurricane. :(
