not sure if this alerts you guys, but hopefully it does. the words are 'esso lamente pormi', i dont know if there are any accents or anything if that would influence it. any help is appreciated, even if you cant get it!
As far as I can tell, this means something along the lines of "I regretted that" or "That gave me regret". "Esso" is not a word, but "eso" means that, "lamente" with an accent on the e is the past-tense "I" form of the verb "Lamentar" (to regret), and "por mi" means "For me".
that would actually make more sense. it was wrong of me to do so, but i saw my girlfriends journal and the cover had those words, didnt open because of privacy reasons but i was justwondering what they meant.
My best interpretation, given that it's the cover a diary/journal, would be that it is a command: "Regret that in place of me." (i.e. let me put my feelings here rather than carry them inside)
