The only constant in life is change. I know that's probably NOT what you want to hear at a time like this, but humans have this amazing ability for adaptation to adverse scenarios. My grandfather lost his thumb and finger to a gator when he was younger. Yes it sucks, but you are still alive and you have the ability to adapt.
You will get through this and you will be better for it; for knowing that you can survive difficult times in your life and for not letting it stop you from being who you want to be.
