I have a job. I earned my job the same as any man would. My company doesn't have any issue with sexism or ill treatment in the workplace. For the respect of the company I work for, I WILL be at work on March 8th.
Perception: "Oh no, all our female employees have called off! We're DOOMED!"
Reality: "Fred, Carol called off today. I'll need you to fill in for her." - "...dangit."
More to the point, a strong female presence in the workforce is a positive thing. The idea of protesting "sexism" by giving that up (if only for a day) is laughably backwards.
yes I don't think that that's going to do anything but annoy people and make men think that the women can't take the work, just work harder next year, don't bfe absent because that does -
