I have a job. I earned my job the same as any man would. My company doesn't have any issue with sexism or ill treatment in the workplace. For the respect of the company I work for, I WILL be at work on March 8th.

I don't get this. Sounds like an excuse to get a day off to me.

Oh I like this. "Protest sexism by staying home and cooking dinner, doing housework." The irony is hysterically thick. XD

My math teacher is wearing all black on the 8th to protest the protest. :P

@Kephras Its actually a day to show the significance of women in society. No women, no economy.

Perception: "Oh no, all our female employees have called off! We're DOOMED!"
Reality: "Fred, Carol called off today. I'll need you to fill in for her." - "...dangit."

More to the point, a strong female presence in the workforce is a positive thing. The idea of protesting "sexism" by giving that up (if only for a day) is laughably backwards.

@Pup Could the same thing not be said for men too? Either way, it's still roughly 50% of the population not going to work.

yes I don't think that that's going to do anything but annoy people and make men think that the women can't take the work, just work harder next year, don't bfe absent because that does -
