I transitioned to a venture crew before making Eagle, a mistake I regret to this day. I was unpacking some boxes and found that, and my Order of the Arrow sash, both of which I hadn't seen in more than ten years.

What was the thing you most enjoyed about scouting? A memorable camping trip?

I'm still relatively young, I'm currently a Junior ASM, and the thing I enjoyed most as a youth scouter was going to the World Jamboree. It was a great time and I met a lot of good friends whom I still communicate with. Philmont is also definitely up there. I joined a venture crew at the age of fourteen, but didn't find it to hinder my progress to Eagle.

It's unfortunate it turned out that way, I couldn't imagine. :[

Our venture crew was Sea Scouts, there was no Eagle rank.

And philmont was a trip, dude.

Oh, I see that you fully transitioned, not doing both? Did you get the Quartermaster rank? Glad I could meet another scout :]

No, I hit 18 and went to school, instead of finishing the rank.
