People incited drama with them and on them (much like they do nowadays), and they got banned sometime in late 2012-ish/early 2013-ish. None were allowed (some exceptions were made), until IcC was demoted - the ban on them was lifted the same day, and there was massive influx of them for about a month afterward :P
