As a very logical person, love scares me. Today, the floodgates holding back everything broke, and now I can't sleep. Love is great, but being in love is the worst.
Congratulations, and my condolences. :P I know it isn't at all easy, but at the same time it can feel like you're on top of the world. My only advice is to act on it. From what I've seen of you, you have more perseverance and a more well-meaning heart that many people.
She (or he) should feel lucky to have acquired your affections; don't sit around wishing and waiting for things to happen, because they won't, and all you'll end up with is regret. Cliche advice, I know, but also true. Best of luck to you in this emotional rollercoaster known as love. :)
Thank you very much, hash. I am mostly recovering from a spotty past regarding my love life. Things never would work out, and I am trying to remember that love only needs to work once. I emailed her not long ago, praying that a no and a normal friendship is kept between us.
