o one more thing on 8+ is it normal for endermen to random spawn ontop of you pissed off and start to attack and thier was never any around you and your looking at the sky?
ok to add to this. i seem to be defaulting back pre yesterday levels... like i changed to 7 on smp6 but jumped back to 8 after i attacked a mob. seems like every server. Sorry i think i broke my self. Sorry Aikar I broke something.....
i think it is supposed to be where all mobs, no matter if they are normally aggro or not (aka pigmen, enderman, etc.) auto attack you
yah but no endermen are around they just spawn on top of me, and even the reg mobs dont just run after me if i'm far away. Just funny to have endermen tp right on top of you in your own lighted up base in a ocean area or even any were.
There may be furthur issues with the cache updating. Try setting to your desired difficulty, stay out of combat for 5 mins (Until /diff no longer says to wait), then relogin. That should clear the cache.
ok confirmed there is a bug with the cache, and this is whats causing the problems. I will fix it tonight when I'm home and schedule the fix to automatically go out on the nightly reboot, so it will be fixed tomorrow.
