I can't do anything on my plot because of lag from npcs.

  1. Hi everyone,
    My problem is that in the plot next door to me there are 100's of villagers, they are flying all over the place and invading my plot, however the problem I am having is that the number of npc villagers is causing so much lag around my plot that I can't actually do anything on it. I'm fairly sure that these are the cause of the problem as the lag stops when I move away from the property.
    I've waited a few days to see if the owner of the plot logs in but I have not seen her log in for a couple of days. I really don't know what to do about this, and like I said, I can't do anything on my plot so it's getting annoying now.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm on smp5 and my plot is 11364...

  2. Really unfair :/ I'm not sure what to do about it though sorry. :/

  3. Maybe PM a mod, they might be able to eggify some of the NPCs and leave a note for the owner that they need to tone down their NPC farming.

  6. That's just how Walmart is at times. You get a lot of weirdos wondering around trying to find good prices. :p lol! Just be thankful they aren't allowed to drive cars in minecraft and so no need for a huge ugly parking lot. :p

  8. Have you tried to eggify a bunch of the villagers? Egging is free in town. Just use a stick and right click on them to eggify them. This should help.

  10. Not sure what the rules are if an animal is on your lot, you could eggify it and return it when you see them next.

    At any rate, I expect all those villagers are actually on the walmart lot, they just appear to be outside because of lag, like in a mob grinder when it gets filled up.

  13. I have eggified a good portion of the villiagers, most of which were on the outside fenceline of your lot trying to get back in. Queendiva1 also cleaned up a good portion of villagers outside their lot. I have placed 55 NPC eggs in a chest just outside your npc farm. :)

  14. Yaaay, problem sorted, thanks very much for your help on this, you can lock the thread now :D

    I did eggify around 100 that made it into my plot, but I've just returned them to their rightful owner :)
