I got glasses the other day. I want the Empire's opinion on how I look with them!

I think you look better with glasses, one problem that you might run into when wearing them all day is,

if they don't fit you properly then they will tend to slide down your nose quite often

I lost mine for 2 days and it was horrible...

The one problem with being short sighted is that you have to wear 2 glasses for 3d movies in the cinema, so uncomftable...

Erm, without looks better to me, unless you could get the prescription shades. ;3 or, do something more with your hair, like comb it over, or have it spiked up. Or both

I wore glasses when I was, like, 8. Then, I lost them, and my vision improved, but never got completely better. These are basically to make up for when I didn't have them.

You got a good choice of frames. They are the right color and shape for your face.

You look good, but some people will look at you differently. Makes you look 'smarter' is a very common perception of people. If you only need them while driving (some day) or when reading from the board at school you are very lucky because you won't wear them all the time and people notice less.

Contact lenses are nice to have as an option, for events or some situations that will come up. At parties it's not really ideal to be the smartest looking guy. (not sure why, but it has always seemed to be that way) Just keep in mind that the glasses don't make you who you are.

I have been wearing glasses since the 3rd grade and I can't hardly do anything without them because I'm totally near sighted. It was really hard for me for a long time because I felt funny about them, but it was my fear of not being accepted that really hurt.

Hope you have some good friends that can look past a simple thing and not judge.

Finally, i'm 37 years old and so many of my friends and coworkers have glasses now that nobody notices or cares. Most people need some vision correction as they get older.

Your frames look a lot like mine. My vision is not the worst either. When I take my glasses off, I am blind for about 10 seconds and then my family wonders why I need them if I can see almost perfectly fine. You look really great, though!
