Hello Everyone, I've had a shop for a while now on smp3 res 7866 and figured it would be a good idea to start a thread to do a little shop talk. Today's talk is about a 100% price increase for sand. I can't keep it stocked even with Blockhead_56's help. I'm also nearing 2 million pieces mined on smp3 so I moved a ton of sand. We did a little price analysis across all of emc and figured the increase was needed to be fair to other shops since the median price was around 75r per stack when I was selling at 20r. I'm now selling it at 40r and even though this is a huge price increase I am still close to being the lowest around. Our shop offers it in single stack, 9 stack and 27 stack quantities. I'll soon be back to the 40+ DC's of stock for all of your sand adventures.
I made a few changes to the store to help customers find what they need. Right when you enter the shop there are a few tpsigns on the lefthand side pointing towards a few of the areas in the shop. I'll be adding more on the righthand side as well. There is a Trial Chambers tpsign setup to get you to the newer items found in the chambers. There are a few keys, potions, heads, trims and heavy cores. I'm still actively exploring in the Waste so these chests will be added to as I come across the items. The bulk area is now full of many many chests of sand so come and get some if you need it. Happy shopping and thank you!
The shop is fully stocked with sand and sandstone now. We also still have a well stocked froglight and shulker shell area. I'm currently back out looking for trial chambers so some of those items will be stocked again. There are still a few more heavy cores in stock if anyone wants to craft their own mace. I'm curious if anyone would be intetested in bulk bone blocks. If so, that item will soon be in the bulk area.
Ok, Bone Block in bulk is now available in the shop. Use the Bulk Area tpsign to the right as you enter the shop to get to the bulk area then head up the new stairs to the mezzanine above the frog lights. Price is currently set at 1r a block. I will go around to other shops tomorrow to make sure I'm not undercutting them with the price and adjust it if necessary. I also changed the sign for both types of Trial Chamber keys so the shop will now buy your excess keys at 16r under the sell price. There is currently a little over a stack of space in each chest for selling.
In an effort to spread the rupees around, especially to new players, I've been adding sell prices to many of the items in the shop so the shop will buy your items. Lately I've been enjoying mining so much I've beem spending all my time at dig sites so the buy option helps with the restocking. There is a 16r difference between the buy and sell prices. That's to keep the shop rupee balance going in a small positive direction. The shop is still a work in progress. At some point I'll be adding to the tpsign area to make it a little more obvious where to go for items. We are constantly adding to the bulk area and we can handle mega bulk on a few items.
