Death Race. EMC's newest player run game, which is also the best thing since the microwave. This game is both simple and treacherous. Classic Ice Boat racing, but with added track hazards, and of course the ability to 'die'. This is NOT your granddad's simple ice boat race. The race track is currently found on Utopia @ /v 5638, then using the TP sign on the East Wall. Upcoming Death Race variants: Death's Ahoof (horse racing), Itshort Escort (you're leashed pet has to survive too). Okay, I'll try it! It's pretty cool! I haven't been able to complete it yet. I'm sure I could if I didn't try to go fast. It was very considerate of you to place all those barriers!
Trust me I initially tried running it w/o barriers while I had Speed II beacon and trotters on... Completely impossible. Barriers were mandatory.
Update: Yesterday's races were the initial open testing of the course. I've been working today and will be this week on tweaking aspects of it (adding hazards, more uniform lighting, etc). I'm thinking weekly or bi weekly races though are in the very near future.
