Wastelands Reset Scheduled with 1.16 Update!This reset does NOT include the Frontier or Town.Please disassemble any structures you have in the WASTELANDS (wilderness AND nether) INCLUDING CHESTS and move the materials and yourself to town ASAP. There will be an in-game announcement about this as well. With each version update, we update the wastelands. As we are nearing the final release of 1.16, it's important that everyone has their items moved BEFORE 12/18.(We do not have an exact time and it could be delayed on date due to final bug testing that is ongoing. This is a MINIMUM date)The wastelands are never meant for any permanent structures and are intended to be a mining and resource gathering land. They are generally reset periodically, or alongside a version update, in order to allow for fresh lands to be generated for new blocks to be available.
Hi Krysyy, If someone goes out to the waste and picks up/mine 1.16 items, will they be able to bring them back into Town or the Frontier? Will they need to wait until those are upgraded as well? Thanks
The waste will reset during the same downtime as when the server goes down for the update, as has happened with previous version updates.
Secretly I host netherite events because I can’t survive three minutes in the nether without dying... I’ll have everyone else collect the Netherite and then buy it for cheep cheep
Dear cTJx, How to survive the Nether: wear gold shoes : ignore the zombie piglins : fire protection and feather falling is a must on those. Use dispensers instead of chests. Piglins are afraid of soul torches/lanterns/fires and certain mushrooms (?). Fire protection IV on at least 2 major articles of clothing. Potions of Fire Resistance, made from magma cream, are extremely helpful, and you will be immune melting in lava with with the aforementioned combo. You can swim in lava with that combo without taking damage (drink the potion first). Its how I like to collect buckets of lava in the wasteland. Just don't let any of the "water" in your mouth, striders do their business in there. Bring a bow (and arrows), to shoot ghasts who get too close. Bring food but you can always hunt for pork chops in some biomes. Good Luck finding netherite! --- I'm wondering if building nether-rails is going to be as relatively easy anymore due to the presence of Blackstone and a greater variety of biomes. By greater variety I mean other shades of nightmare.
