For the last few weeks mobs haven't been spawning properly because of a bug in the software running EMC. The bug was fixed on the weekend and the servers were updated yesterday. See LZBZ's post http://empireminecraft.com/threads/smp7-jungle-outpost.5159/page-116#post-154088

So now mobs are going to spawn if there isn't enough light. You may find that some of your areas aren't properly lit. Or perhaps some higher areas in your ravine are dark and the mobs are dropping down.

To check the light level on a block use the debugging info (F3).

I hate Shane so much. Though I do have a tiny bit of respect for him for beating the fudge out of that guy for treating his wife like crap.

So, I would totally make a huge essay and all, but it's late so I'm just going to list everything on my mind. (Well, not everything, but you know what I mean.)
- Because there has been a little confusion recently, I plan to create an Alt Account section on the member page on the site. This way, if you see some people you've never seen before acting like, well, me (hehe) then you can check and say "Oh, it's him." I will only add alts with player's permissions. If you have any alts that will be in the LLO, PM me and I will put it on the site. Note that this is completely optional for those who have alts, I just get tired of saying "I'm Secret this is my alt" "ooo whats that"

- I figure to start the tutorial building soon, providing I get the go-ahead and all. I will hook it up to the existing rail from town and make it so that when someone is shown to the rail entrance, the shower can hit a button, and somewhere WAY down the track, the track is diverted so that the cart goes a different path and into the tutorial, blah blah etc.

- I have put this off for way too long, but I will finally start getting around to showing people the rail entrance. If you want to know, just reply on this thread and I will get a nice full conversation and give instructions.

Nothing against Bob here, but for example, I wake up and there's a big cobble tower in the jungle park that extends into my house. Same with Pandas. He never asked permission to build another house, nor did he ask permission to put a big stairway into mine.
I guess I just want to say this. We as a community thrive because we are all so close and we are all (99%) nice and open. Anyone can build anywhere, but it's common courtesy, in ANY community, to ask before you start building in someone's backyard. For example, when a city wants to tear down a bunch of houses to build a freeway extension, they have to go and make sure every single resident is ok with it. Imagine if they didn't, how would you like waking up to a wrecking ball coming through your bedroom? Getting permission is common courtesy in real life, why not in MC? And it will definitely make me respect you more, even if no one cares about that anymore.

- The spawners are GONE. We are moving them to a different server entirely, and because of some very selfish people, it will be invite only. One can apply to use them, but we are going to be pretty strict after what has happened. You will have to be allowed in now, rather than just showing up and saying "WUR R TEH BALZES".

- Starting Sunday, I am not going to be able to login in-game for around 3 weeks. I might pop on for a bit, but never for too long and that's not guaranteed. I might be able to check the forums from my phone, but again, no guarantees. Obsidian city, tutorial, all my big projects, are postponed until I get back. I also plan to have a little going away party on Friday or Saturday. Details to come.

Sounds like a plan and I'm give you heads up I can't make to your party friday or Saturday going to be at a wedding. I guess have a Fun time to where ever you are going lol

I have a few things to say. I don't think the community will respond happily to you showing peplum the rail to the outpost. If it does go ahead though I can help. Also can I help with the grinders, I have some experience with building them and I would like to help. Also LZBZ_DW said I could have access to the grinders. I don't have much else to say.
