I am having trouble. EMC wont let me chat for some reason. Its just saying, "Cannot send chat message" I tried disconnecting and reconnecting but it didn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Are you able to send messages in single player? So far the only thing I've found on this issue would be your chat being off or set to commands only. Try going into options and then chat settings and make sure it says "Chat: Shown". Have you fully restarted Minecraft, or just reconnected to EMC?
I set my chat to "on" to make sure and it still didn't work. I hopped off while waiting for a response. I'll try hopping on again to see if anything changed from a full restart.
I remember something weird like this having happened to someone else too a while ago. Could you please try sending a message in singleplayer (might have to open to lan - nobody else has to join though)? Also, could you please share a screenshot?
Were you maybe connecting with a 1.13.x client? Sometimes that causes issues since we are still technically 1.12.2.
