  1. 1-
I bought a woodland mansion map from cartographer villager but when I went to the Wasteland to use it, I got a message in chat that says there is no nearby woodland mansion
I tried to change the sites more than once, but nothing has changed

    How to solve this problem?
    2-

I went to the end and killed the dragon but got the dragon's head instead of the egg and the gate to the end city did not appear, why?

there is an old gate because the dragon was defeated before but I respawn him to get a new gate so that I could find another end city
is the end cities can not be found on emc ?!

  2. I only know the answer to question 2

You can find end city’s, most of them have been discovered, you need to go pretty far to find one and just a lil note, make sure your prepared.
  3. 1) The Wastelands are only a few thousand blocks across, so it's possible all of the woodland mansions within that boundary have already been discovered. If you go to the frontier instead, it should work. It did for me earlier today on smp2, at least. Also, it sounds like you did this, but make sure not to use the map until you're actually in the frontier.
    2) About the dragon egg - all of the original dragon eggs were claimed long ago - I think not having the eggs respawn is the default vanilla multiplayer behavior. On the plus side, you don't need an egg to respawn the dragon, so you can farm for heads instead. The head dropping is an EMC-specific thing, I think.
    Hope that helps!
  4. if going into the frontier you will want to make sure you arent raiding one in another players outpost. I have seen players get upset over that

  5. Thanks a lot guys :)
    one last question :

Which is better in finding the end cities Wasteland's end/frontier's end
  6. How do I know it's another player outpost ?
  7. Well /waste is for mining and the best for short travels to find a end city. The /wild will be much harder as you'll have to go more than 15k blocks to even find one but no guarantee that it isn't already raided.
  8. If there is a giant base near the mansion that has yet been discovered. Use /map to find your directions and you won't know there is a base until your close to the mansion.
  9. A fresh map from a villager should take you to an explored monument or mansion. However these can be extremely far out since there is technically no distance limit. You may find yourself asked to travel 100k or more.
  10. A fresh map from a villager should take you to an explored monument or mansion. However these can be extremely far out since there is technically no distance limit. You may find yourself asked to travel 100k or more.

When the mansions or monuments are UNDISCOVERED (i.e. when the map is opened), do the locations appear on the Live Map or will the only appear when a player explores the are and opens the chunks?

    Thanks.
  11. Go to another SMP.

This is one of those cool EMC custom features: there's no risk in you wasting your map over a not present or mably already discover mansion. So the first thing to do is go to the wasteland on every SMP to see what happens. Once that runs out you can try your luck in the Frontier.

But to be honest I'd suggest against trying in the Frontier. The problem is that most nearby structures will have been discovered already and the deeper you travel outwards the more likely it becomes that you'll enter someone's established outpost. So basically you could risk destroying someone elses land without even realizing it.

My take: if the map doesn't work in either of the wastelands (on all SMP's) then save it for the next waste reset.

The head drop is once again a specific EMC custom feature. Only the original (naturally spawned) ender dragon drops the egg. Once that has been done none of the respawned incarnates will do the same.

See also this wiki article about the Dragon Egg.

    Hope this can also help.
