Spiders and cave spiders usualy attak to defend themselves in sunlight, it must have been a bug, also plaese post the texture pack

What if these are pacifist spiders? What if they have come to the realization that we can all live peacefully and happily?

I agree with secret they were probably pacifist and were just potesting that people are killing there friends and family

Spiders will become passive in sunlight, as long as they arent struck or spawned in the current chunk near the player.. I sometimes like pushing docile spiders off cliffs or into my traps.. :3

No, I would be installing the hack/mine mod and striking them down with lightning!

(BTW hack/mine AMAZING mod, comes with the technic installer)
