        The comments are pretty good, too. My favorite WO story is that an F-18 dropped a magnesium flare in the flight bay of a carrier. The Officer on Deck and a Lieutenant were arguing whether or not to flood the bay with AFFF when a WO older than god walks up, picks up the flare with a pair of pliers, and throws it all overboard.

        From the captions, it looks like some of those are the graphic artist's own design, either based on real systems or esoteric mechanisms. The last one, I don't have any idea, but it might be based on some anti aircraft or anti materiel weapon.
