[HELP] Chests not appearing

  1. I have faced an issue for the past week now.
    Half of my chests on my residence do not appear, but I can still open it etc.
    Also, some mobs were not visible either.
    This pic explains it:

  2. Maybe your minecraft version is creating this? What MC' version are you playing in the servers?

  3. 1.8.3 - I haven't updated to 1.8.4 because I can't be bothered getting optifine for it. Im guessing this may be the reason?

  4. Try changing to 1.8.0 or 1.8.1 and see if the chest are present. And not their ghost friends.

  5. Issue was fixed, thanks ShelLuser for helping me, swell as you generalfelino015.
    Turns out it was Optifine, when I turned it off, chests were there.
    Weird right?
