Utopia Mobs

Hi guys, I have a small complaint that I am hoping can be fixed soon...



So these are screenshots of my digging my sand in the Utopia deserts. Utopia is the supporter only server that has 24/7 day time and no fall damage. My issue here is that these mobs are spawning in broad daylight. I have died countless times because I do not wear armor on Utopia. Luckily, I dig sand right next to an outpost so I can get my stuff. Hopefully this can be fixed.

hmm..

In all screenshots it shows that you're in the middle of a rainstorm. So that's why you're experiencing some troubles with mobs, isn't a glitch/bug =)
EDIT: Or was just exiting a rainstorm

No rain. I am in a desert and was not near a river biome at that time. It has happened multiple times in different locations.

Mobs still spawn on Utopia. They spawn in low light places, in shadows under trees and even in deserts when it is cloudy due to weather. This is not a bug. It is suggested and recommended that you wear armour any time you are not in a town world to help protect yourself from these mobs.

Ah, cloudy... that must be it.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't rain in minecraft deserts.

No, it doesn't rain but the sky does turn cloudy and the light level does drop.
