So, the first partial solar eclipse in the UK (not sure about the rest of Europe...) since 1999 happened today. I only seen approximately 1 minute of it (as the sky darkened and it got colder, and just as the moon began to 'slide away' from the Sun), but it was 10/10 one of the most amazing things I have seen in my life. Here's a bad quality picture taken through eclipse glasses by my mum Aaand the European Space Agency's timelapse taken by its Proba-2 satellite... I can't wait for August 2026...
I got to see a partial eclipse a couple months ago over here in America. It was kinda hard to see though, but still a great experience. On another note, on April 4th, there will be a total lunar eclipse in Asia/the Americas for anyone who wants to see it.
I was at school and it was cloudy for me too Most teachers let us out to see it, and the clouds actually helped people to look at it
