  1. Now that TNT is allowed, we can finally blow up each other's cobblestone huts in the Wastelands, but even in vanilla Minecraft, TNT isn't good for much more than griefing, wild destruction, and a few mob killing machines.
I know TNT selectively destroys different blocks, but I do not know what is and isn't on that list. If TNT targets gravel, dirt, stone, etc.. but not ores, then it would be very useful for blast mining, especially if multiple TNT were able to be used at once like in Vanilla.
I suggest this only for the Wastelands, as people shouldn't be blast mining in the Frontier.

This might only be a question and not a suggestion. Does TNT blow up any ores, including quartz? What about chests/mob spawners?
  2. I am of the opinion that EMC should not be changing vanilla features. That is what modded servers are for.
  3. Fair enough. Normally I agree, but the TNT was already only targeting certain blocks, so it got me thinking.
I won't even stand by my own suggestion I guess.
Are ores already on the list of things that don't blow up?
  4. Each block has a blast resistance, tnt can destroy all blocks except for:

. These include Obsidian, Bedrock, liquid source blocks (with enough force, they can still be destroyed), Anvils, Enchantment Tables, Ender Chests, Command blocks, and End Portal Frame blocks.

  5. Yeah, but EMC has altered it to prevent griefing. It doesn't effect a lot of the craftable blocks that it does in vanilla Minecraft.
