Black Screen of Minecraft Death!

  1. Sigh, Whenever I try to get on Minecraft this happens! http://imgur.com/9wFiT
    I have tried clicking the force update to make it say "Will Force!" so I am completley confused. Please help! I can't even play normal minecraft!

  2. That's happened to me once when i tried to install optifine. I just used MC Patcher and un-patched my minecraft to get a fresh .jar file and then it worked fine. Try that, maybe?

  4. You can also try deleting the whole minecraft folder, making a backup for saves.
    Then just launch minecraft and it will force (like real force) an update.

  7. Yes, sorry i assumed by default you had a pc :p
    But yeah it's application support.
    Basically delete all you have related to minecraft (saving the maps if you have) and then just download MC again and install it :)
