[Suggestion] Auto - Tab Adjuster

  1. Above is what it looks like with normal tab (3 sets of 20 slots) ... 60 people per-say

When the server has more than 60 people online .... the tabs do not make another set of 20 slots to display individual's names....

Usually in huge events the server will get full... but you are unaware of the amount of people online or who's online sometimes, without having to continually type /who

So what I think would be good is every time the server gets 61+ members online the amount of slots in tab would increase to 80 then 100 ... past that idk if it would be possible unless if you have a massive monitor or something.

Also, when the player count decreases the amounts of slots could decrease as well... so basically it would 'auto adjust' to the amount of players online...

    What do you guys think?
  2. I don't think it's possible to go beyond 60, or change midway. Pretty sure the server has it set at launch based on how many slots you set it to.
  3. I just looked ... bungeecord can do it easily with settings tablistslots: 60 ... just have a hook from player count to tablistslots and bam... easily change it to 80 etc....

Bukkit api is very limited in what they say on it... but a person named DoubleNegative was able to make TabApi ... so it doesn't look that complicated.
  4. The only problem I might see is if the tablistslots is per server or for all smps ... if it's for all smps then it would be very difficult, there would have to be individual packets sent out or something ... if it's per server then wouldn't be a huge problem, i don't believe.
