I was just wondering of EMC's site and servers will be completely shut down during earth hour so that we would not be able to access anything EMC. If EMC doesn't shut down then I'm also wondering will Mojang shut down for earth hour so we won't be able to log in to any servers! If someone could answer this that would be great tha is everyone!
It's an hour when you turn off all electricity and just hang out without electricity. Some people observe it, others don't I forgot it was today I can't remember what hour it is anymore.
Oh, so basically what I do when my paycheck is fouled and I can't afford electricity or food... Gotcha, I wasn't aware people did this intentionally... Craziness.

Earth hour is another of those feel-good ideas that doesn't really do anything to reduce energy usage. It helps people feel good about themselves for about an hour that "I'm doing something important!" and then they immediately return to their wasteful, destructive everyday ways. It's like those spam emails where you're supposed to "not buy gas on whatever day." The only way to truly reduce your thirst for energy is to take proactive steps to make your home and lifestyle more energy efficient. You know, things like walking or biking when you can, putting up storm windows, turning off lights when not in use, setting your thermostat a little lower in the winter and a little higher in the summer. And countless other things. Plus, doing those things every day and not just for an hour once a year.
I agree that earth hour is over rated but a lot of companies and individuals take part in this do I was wondering if EMC was taking part and if anyone knew if Mojang was aswell.
