[HALP] PC ISSUE!

Discussion in 'Community Discussion' started by MintyJinkers, Jul 10, 2014.

  1. Ok, so today I cleaned out my PC for my bi-monthly Dust free clean. Did it the same as always, then went to boot it up and chaos had hit. I was getting this constant boot loop and error message 15 (on the LED indicator). Looked it up and it is a problem with the pre-memory initialization of the North bridge. I've spent the last 4 hours trying to fix it. Nothing.

Now I am resulting to here before I send the $540 mobo away under warranty.

The motherboard is a Gigabyte Z87X-OC FORCE.

Please help. Love my PC to bits (even though it's half finished).

Let me know if you need any more information!
  2. Have you tried turning it on and off again?

Sorry, I'm not great with troubleshooting...
  3. So, so, so many times its not funny. I also require that PC to complete my school work. :/
  4. Thanks. Trying them now.
  5. If you have an old PC just throw the mobo in temporarily if it has the correct sockets, and then ship that one away to get fixed.
  6. I had thought about that. But this one is the only one that is recent enough to support my other hardware etc. The rest I have been fixing up for my Uncle (dunno what the heck he is doing with them).

Nada, no luck at all. :( Thanks for the suggestion thought.

Any other ideas please leave them below and I will try them when I return from work. Cya's for now.
  7. Any other ideas? It gets shipped on monday (AEST)
  8. Well, I had a problem with my PC(PSU)and sent it back, I realized you can play MC(more or less) on basically any computer past 05'. So just get an old piece of junk if you can and hope for the best, sorry about your problems. :(
  9. yeah, that i know. but i have a bunch of school work to do. so either way wont be on for a while. cheers though
  10. Cheers, I hope you get a quick fix from your company.
  11. Haha, doubt it :p The retailer is located down in Melbourne (another state) and I have to send it through them to have it covered by warranty, and even then they have to get another one shipped over from the US and then finally ship it back to me. Looks like about a month till my PC runs again. :/
