[Established] Melomel Outpost - SMP5 Frontier

Discussion in 'Frontier and Player Outposts' started by MeadMaker, May 13, 2014.

  1. I am starting a new Outpost in the SMP5 Frontier. Locked chest has been placed. The goals of this outpost are similar to New Atlantia: Protect and Expand Testificate Villages.

If you want to join me, there is no application to fill out. I am not sharing coordinates, but the outpost will be located near New Atlantia. Just simply head on out here and let me know you are coming.

For EMC Staff: Once outpost is established, does the original locked chest need to stay in the same place or can it be removed if desired.
  2. I believe the locked chest is just so a mod can find the place without cords and such, so pretty sure it can be removed afterwords.

But as a full time SMP5 resident, let me know if I can help in some way. Yallquit and I have a ton of projects going right now but we can try to help in anyway possible. :)
  3. I don't think many people know where New Atlantia is.
  4. That's sort of the idea.
    Grauhaar72 and Kephras like this.
  5. The locked chest used to establish the claim does not have to stay once the claim is marked [ESTABLISHED]. As it will be recorded at that time.
  6. Then, how do they know where to go? . . .
  7. You would have to figure out where New Atlantia is.
There are enough clues in the thread that you can find it with a little searching.
It took me awhile, but I was able to locate it.

I'm not too far of a journey from there.
Then, like I said, let me know you're coming so I'll expect you.
  8. Location confirmed, a record has been made of your claim to that piece of land. Congratulations! Would you like the thread locked or left open? :)
  9. Thanks a bunch! You can leave the thread open.
  10. There are a few places in that general region that might be confused for the start of your new kingdom. ;) While I appreciate the acknowledgement, I don't think using New Atlantia as the point of reference is the best way to go about recruiting.
Looking forward to seeing what you develop down there, though!
