  1. As we all know, this was hyped SO much, I already know its going to fall MILES short of everyone expectations. Come on, we all know ANYTHING this hyped will almost always fall short of peoples expectations. I think my school got hit the hardest in my city then any other school. Almost every girl has read it. (For the guys..) Whats your thought on it.
  2. the book is fantastic.. if it is even slightly close to that.. i will enjoy it.
  3. about 10 out of 11 students at my school read it and loved it! I can't wait.

    -Removed-
  4. I removed the second part of that statement, MEINCRAVTA. I'm assuming it was a spoiler. I haven't read the books, but plan to see the movie and don't want any of it ruined just in case. If I'm wrong about it, I apologize.
  5. You just did it again. I had to delete that whole sentence. NO SPOILERS!
  6. Lol? Um i said that the guy was short i think....
  7. I will admit, I read all 3 books and they were awesome, prob the best fiction I read in the last 5 years. I am excited about the movies, but I know they won't live up to the books, I don't see how they could not being rated R lol.

  8. and talked about how they were tricking people into thinking person A would choose person B instead of person C.
  9. Oh right right, i should just be quiet lol.
  10. I actualy tried reading it once. I got to page 20, I think until I got bored :I

Sorry but it was all to detailed for my taste. xD
But I may watch the movie when it comes out. :3
  11. One thing many people don't know about is the spoiler tag:

    It is simple:

  12. No need to be sorry, everyone has different tastes :)
  13. The funny thing is that I just finished the first book two mins ago and all I see is GameKribJEREMY deleting MEINCRAVTA's spoilers. Thank god you deleted them GameKribJEREMY. Don't need you ruining it for everyone MEINCRAVTA :p JKJK
  14. really the only movies I've seen that were on books that were really good were The Lord of the Rings and The Road. Both were INCREDIBLE interpretations of their respective books but still weren't as good as the books. I only hope that they did as good of a job with the movies as the other two, but regardless I'm looking forward to it :)
  15. well the hunger games is at least a shorter story, it always makes the transfer easier.
  16. I think the movie(s) will hopefully be better than most of the movies based off of books. ;)
  17. Me personally, I run around suggesting it to all my friends :) I'm excited to see the movie, and I've kind of come to terms with the fact that it's very unlikely to live up to expectations. It should still be awesome though, it just has a lot to live up to.

Btw, I still think that when Justin has some free time (ha ha, good joke, right?), the Empire would benefit greatly from a Hunger Games arena/event.

  18. This is a bit off topic, but there is another book that I want to take a moment to suggest...

    The Destroyermen Series:

Pressed into service when World War II breaks out in the Pacific, the USS Walker—a Great-War vintage “four-stacker” destroyer—finds itself in full retreat from pursuit by Japanese battleships. Its captain, Lieutenant Commander Matthew Patrick Reddy, knows that he and his crew are in dire straits. In desperation, he heads Walker into a squall, hoping it will give them cover—and emerges somewhere else.

Familiar landmarks appear, but the water teems with monstrous, vicious fish. And there appear to be dinosaurs grazing on the plains of Bali. Gradually Matt and his crew must accept the fact that they are in an alternate world—and they are not alone. Humans have not evolved, but two other species have. And they are at war.

With its steam power and weaponry, Walker’s very existence could alter the balance of power. And for Matt and his crew, who have the means to turn a primitive war into a genocidal Armageddon, one thing becomes clear. They must decide whose side they’re on. Because whoever they choose to side with is the winner.

This is directed more so directed at Justin (your military background may appeal), but to everyone else who reads this, by all means read them :D
  19. I LOVE THE HUNGER GAMES ! Oh my gosh, don't get me started on my crazy obsession for it. I will keep my mouth shut though in fear of giving away something!
