If I purchase gold membership, is there a way to turn it off at the end of the month.

Of course you can turn it off. At your profile settings you can turn it off.

Yes, after you upgrade a button will magically appear that says "Cancel Subscription." Clicking this button will do exactly what you have asked.

btw... as soon as u upgrade u can "cancell" the recurrent payment and you WILL keep the supporter perks for 30 days from upgrading

Thank you Leowaste and RaNiSiMa, good point. Also, if you can only donate occasionally don't overlook the Donate button on the Rupees tab where you will receive Rupees for your donation. Of course, you won't get a cool blue, gold, or silver title under your name for the month or be able to hide on the Live Map, but you will get all the Rupees right away.
