hey, i cant seem to find a way to get back to the town. cant ask for help either since nobody is in my "area" any help would be appreciated.
Check out the live map if you get lost. Red square = safe zone. Yellow square = perodic reset area. On the right hand side of the live map, find your name and click it, it'll show you where you are. Edit : If you are lost, you might want to go the the safe zone (Spawn)
I cant seem to find my name on the player list on the map and im stuck in the wilderness, what should i do?

If you cant find urself player names are displayed at the right of your screen. double click it and the map will center on u. Then just look for the closest red square
Darkness, did you find your way out? On the live map there is a list of everyone in the wilderness and you can click up and down to find yourself Click on your name and it will show you on the map. You can then zoom out and find where the spawn is from your current location. As soon as you walk into the safe zone you'll be able to use the /home or /town commands and stuff
If you are checking the live map on the same machine you are playing Minecraft on you need to keep your game active while you check the map otherwise you will not appear on the map. Before you switch to the live map, find a safe spot and press 'E' to open your inventory. This will keep you active in the game while you switch to your browser to check the live map. Choose the wilderness map from the right hand menu, choose your name from the scrolling list on the lower right hand side and click it. you will be centered in the map. From there, you should be able to find your way home. Good luck.
Also if your stuck under ground and the only way to get back is to jump into lava. Do it in the protected area lava doesent hurt u
