Recent Crafting Lag? (CLOSED)

Recently I've been getting some really strange lag when crafting items. So say I'm making a crafting table, I would do everything as usual, then when I shift-click it, it just disappears - until about 6-8 seconds later it comes back as usual. I am also getting disappearing items and some items magically transforming into other items.

Is this happening to anyone else? It might just be my connection, but I've talked to other members of SMP 7 an they've been getting it too...

I've only talked to people from SMP7, which may be the problem. Thanks for the advice!

yeah its been happening to me to, so if you are making a furnace or something and you click on all 8 blocks the last one wont turn up for a few seconds,
if you hold left click and swipe your mouse over those 8 spaces it will do it without the lag

That's what I am currently doing at the moment. My problem is trying to pick up the final product and put it in my inventory.

i have been having this happen for a while now, i have not noticed it in any single player games of mine though.

Umm yeah, it's possible, you just get a 100% lag increase.

Drown grading and playing single player is fine, but multiplayer....ugggg

i get it on all servers, not only EMC, i thinks its to do with the new crafting mojang implemented

I'm experiencing the same problem an I'm from smp1 it's starting to get quite horrific in some cases. I've ended up losing some materials all together.

Yeah. I think why it's a server-side problem, which is probably why it's not happening on Single Player.

pssh, i figured people knew this i was just stating that it doesn't happen on mine. captain obvious!

I am not getting any crafting lag at all, I think that something might be going wrong for you guys because I have asked a few people as well.
Are you running any special texture packs or any mods that can be affecting your crafting abilities? Because I don't think it's a server problem.

I've been getting it occasionally on smp5.

I use Rei's Minimap, OptiFine, and Forge.

The only mod I'm using is Optifine, which I don't think will affect it in any way; as for texture pack, I'm using Faithful 32x32, which probably has 0% to do with the problem.

It's also happened when I was putting stuff in a chest, I was trying to put one item in, but then it put 2 in because of this.

Lol this and block lag happens to me way too much. Also, note to self: it's hard to fight Momentus with a 4000ms ping.

What server do you play on? Does it happen on only one server for you?

Only on Smp3, haven't tried on any other servers though..
