I would really like to have some sort of vacation mode. If you were going on a vacation where you couldn't go on EMC for 10 days, why should you lose your res? I think it would be nice if you could have some way to notify that you will be gone for [insert number of days]. But here's the kicker- To make sure griefers/delinquents on the run don't misuse the Vacation Mode so they can't get banned, or if you just want to keep an empty res that you don't use at all, you can't sign in while in Vacation Mode. Good idea? Eh? Eh?
If you're going to be gone for 10 or more days you can send a Private Message to a Senior Staff/Admin and let them know how long you'll be gone and they will make sure your res is safe. =)
Ok, thanks. I didn't know that. I posted this because I'm going on a 2 week trip to Alaska in the summer...... and then I'll be gone for another week at camp.
If someone else wants to claim it and the person hasn't been on for 10+ days (longer for supporters), and hasn't PMed a Senior Staff/Admin regarding their vacation, it will be lost.
