Phoenix Wright

  1. First a thing for those lucky 3DS owners:

This is a series that I wouldn't expect to be too well known, especially when you consider how difficult the games themselves are to come across. If you ever happen to see these, or intend to run them on an emulator, I highly suggest you pick it up. There are games in the series so far (all on DS).
    • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (also available on iOS and Wii)
    • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice for All
    • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations
    • Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
    • Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth
These games generally are priced at 20 USD, used due their rarity. Finding them is a rare opportunity however, and I again suggest you shell over the cash. As for the games themselves, I suppose a summary is in order. In the games you play as the defense attorney Phoenix Wright (or Apollo Justice in his respective game, or prosecutor Miles Edgeworth in his). You have to investigate crimes (which are always murder) and then go to court and prove your client innocent. It sounds boring in theory but it is in fact quite an exciting and fast paced game. You rely heavily on your wits as you find contradictions in the witnesses testimony, as well as pressing them so they slip up in their testimonies. Your opponents are ruthless prosecutors who only wish for a guilty verdict despite the case. Saying anything further would be a spoiler, so I'll refrain. I once again strongly suggest you give these games a try.

  2. I have played all of them and they are amazing. I would also suggest the Professor Layton series and Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors; because they are all in a similar genre.
  3. I have been looking at those. I heard they made a Phoenix Wright Vs. Professor Layton, but it was only in Japan...
  4. It is probably coming out in the U.S.; damn you Nintendo... I am going to have to buy your crappy 3DS.
  5. Dang it... 3ds
This game actually sounds fun... Now I know what your signature is. Wish I could ply but me no have 3ds...
And... Too bad I can't understand japanese.
  6. The first 5 games in the series are for DS.
  7. Now to find them at my local GameStop.
  8. The whole series, provided you could find them (I just managed to find Apollo Justice) would run you about 100 dollars. Just a heads up. Worth it though.
  9. I probably won't buy all of them. $20 isn't that much for some ds games actually. Pokemon games are just expensive or more I believe.
  10. Objection!!!.gif Emulators!
