  1. pickup at 18520 on smp 9 starting bid 100 increase bids by at least 100
    regeneration [3], instant health [6], fire resistance [15], night vision[8], splash weakness [3], strength [4], swiftness [15].
  2. I don't think this is a valid auction because you don't have a full DC of a single item.
  3. potion dont stack
  4. Alright, my bad. I think I misunderstood the rules, thinking the whole DC had to be the same item type.
  5. I think this is fine, but ill check the rules again.
  6. Yes this auction is valid. The rules say a dc has to be filled, but doesn't need to be the same item.
  7. Someone correct me please if I am wrong, but I understand from rules it has to be full DC of same type of items (except enchanted).
  8. Yes you are correct.
Which items can be auctioned off?
    Updated: 11/03/2012
Auctions may consist of the following:

    • Enchanted items in unused condition and in any quantity
    • EMC New Years 2012 Special Fireworks
    • Beacon Block
    • Any item in bulk (Double Chest ONLY with STACKED items in each slot, or 54 unstackable items)
You may NOT auction off intangible items, used items (where applicable), services or spawners in the wild. This includes trying to sneak them in as "bonuses". Auctions should ONLY consist of one of the four items in the bullet list above.

How many auctions may I hold at one time?
    Updated: 06/03/2012
You may hold ONE auction at a time per account. This means if you have username1 and username2, you can hold one auction at a time for each account. Your auction may contain several items in it, however, please do not hold multiple auctions within your one auction thread. If you would like to hold more than ONE auction at a time, please consider becoming a Supporter and taking advantage of our Supporter Auctions Forum.

What is expected of me as an Auction Host?
    Updated: 06/03/2012
Auction hosts are expected to post ALL details of their auctions in the main post before the auction starts. There should be no editing of the main post by the auction holder at any time. If there needs to be an edit, please contact a staff member so we can determine if it is acceptable or not. The changing of any auction details after a bid has been made is strictly forbidden.

The host is to stand by the rules of the auction no matter what. You are bound to selling the item of the final bid, even if you are unhappy with the final price, so make sure you start it at something you'd be happy with getting, assuming you only get one bid. You may not sell your item to anyone once you put it up for auction. If an auction ends and you do not have the item you posted for the winner, you will be blacklisted from using EMC Auctions.

The Auction host is also expected to provide a secure pickup location within the town world on the server of their choosing, an [ACCESS] sign with a chest is a popular transfer method.

What is expected of me as an Auction Bidder?
    Updated: 08/23/2012
As a bidder, you may not bid on an item you do not have the funds for, should you win.

Bidding it to be in rupees only, no substitutions of items for currency is accepted. Unless stated differently by the auction host, you are expected to pay for the item within 48 hours of winning it. Do not make joke bids. If you post down a number in an auction, you are bound to that number. Do not post in an auction thread unless it meets one of the following criteria:

    • You are asking a question about the posted item.
    • You are making a bid on an item.
    • You won and are discussing transaction details with the host.
    • It is relevant discussion to the auction at hand.
    Auction Guidelines

As an auction host, what should my auction post include?
    Updated: 06/03/2012
The subject of your post should always have a prefix of [Auction] and should include the item that you are auctioning off. For example: [Auction] Silk Touch Diamond Pickaxe

The description of your post should include the following items:

    • Description of the item.*
    • Starting bid of your auction.**
    • The minimum amount you will accept for an bid increase.
    • When the auction will end.***
    * The description will likely mirror your subject unless there are multiple items included.

** Make sure you're happy with this price. If only one person bids, you are stuck selling your item for this price.

*** This must be a clearly defined time. Two acceptable examples would be "24 hours after the last bid has been posted" or "Sunday June 3rd at 9:00PM Central Time". An unacceptable example would be "It will end when I feel like it".

Here is an example of what a proper auction thread will look like:

Subject: [Auction] Silk Touch Diamond Pickaxe

    Item: Silk Touch Diamond Pickaxe

    Starting Bid: 1,000 Rupees

Minimum Bid Increments: Only raise bids by at least 100 Rupees

Auction Ending Time: Auction will end exactly 24 hours after the last bid has been posted with no other bids after it

Are "Buy It Now" options allowed?
    Updated: 06/03/2012
"Buy It Now" options are usually included in online auctions such as eBay that allows someone to purchase an item before the auction ends for a set price. We do not allow that for EMC Auctions. EMC Auctions are to stay in the standard auction only format and are to only be won by the guidelines set in the auction post.

What should be done when an auction ends?
    Updated: 06/04/2012
When an auction ends, please refer it to a staff member so that it can be removed from view. This will allow a clean auction section so everyone knows right away which auctions are currently active. This action can be done by anybody who wishes to be helpful. An easy way to do this as well, would be to use the "report " function on the original post and state that the auction is over in the comments of the report.

    What is illegal bumping?
    Updated: 03/11/2013
Using an alternate account to bid on your auctions is forbidden. An alternate account will be considered an alternate if it has used the same IP as you have in your account. We know a rare case in this may include, siblings, but unfortunately, that's the rule we have to go by here. It is also against the rules to ask another player to bid on your auction to "bump" up it's price without the intention of completing the transaction if your friend wins. Any players found doing either of the above actions will lose auction rights, both as an auctioneer and a bidder.

You are allowed to give your auction a bump once every 3 hours ONLY if 3 hours has passed since the last post. A bid counts as a post, so please don't make posts like "USER123 is in the lead with 1000r!" unless 3 hours has past since that post. Abuse of bumping will result in the loss of auction rights as well.
  9. How do i delete this rhen
  10. pm a moderator
  11. Read first terms again potions cant stack
  12. You are mixing the items though.
  13. Different potions, therefore invalid (im pretty sure, id pm a moderator still)
  14. From rules---> Any item in bulk (Double Chest ONLY with STACKED items in each slot, or 54 unstackable items)
  15. I think someone should edit the auction rule thread to make it less ambiguous. I think I've seen confusion over this before.
  16. It doesn't say in the rules it has to be of the same item.
    NewborKaotic likes this.
