Got my 1st computer in 1983, a Sanyo 550 desktop w/14" monitor. No hard drive just two 5.25 floopy drives and it ran MSdos 5.0...I think. I added extra ram to give it a total of 256K. I still have it up in a closet. OH...Cost me just over $800 as I worked for a computer shop then. Not my pic but that's what it looks like.
Thanks for correcting me. Oh, nvm your correction is wrong. When i write a phrase like "i have a MacBook PRO and a toshiba" if i write as follows " i use the pro for extreme gaming" then by "pro" MacBook PRO is understood. When i say "Andrew is an awesome dude, HE is friendly" then by "HE" Andrew is understood Lemme go back to my 6TH GRADE to remember some grammar for you. I forgot the name of that rule, but i'll look it, brb.
Oh, I wasn't aware I was correcting you. Was just confused about why use a macbook pro for high end gaming/vid production. But yeah. >MacBook PRO >3049.00$ (apple.com, top specs still kinda fairly mid-tier? =/) CPU: 2.5GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7 MEMORY: 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM — 2x4GB HARD DRIVE: 750GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm OPTICAL DRIVE: SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW) VIDEO CARD: AMD Radeon HD 6770M with 1GB GDDR5 MacBook Pro 17-inch Hi-Res Antiglare Widescreen Display >Xplorer X7-Xtreme S2 Gaming Notebook>2867.00$ (cyberpowerpc.com) CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-990X Extreme Edition 3.46 GHz 12M Intel Smart Cache LGA1366 Memory: 12GB (4GBx3) Corsair DDR3-1333 SODIMM Triple-Channel Memory Video Card: 2 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M 1.5GB GDDR5 VRAM Video in SLI Mode Hard Drive: 750GB 7200RPM SATA300 Hard Drive Optical Drive: 6X Blu-ray Burner/8X DVD±R/2.4X +DL Super-Multi Drive (NB-351-BLURAYRW) I am jelly because I am not rich, hip or awsome enough for a mac.
First computer I can say I've owned would be a 1999 HP Pavilion 6630 with a 498MHz processor and now 256MB RAM. Oddly enough that was a budget system and it still cost $700. It's still sitting in my room to this day.
Reading this post makes me feel old... 16k ram makes people think 16000mb (not picking just stating), and there's a whole generation who don't know what a floppy disk is, and even more who don't realize the first floppy disks were actually floppy.
http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/systems/systemdetail.asp?sysid=141&systypeid=10 This is the computer I am nearly able to afford. I will be taking delivery of it within the next month. Justin wanting another server provider? You can host the server on this beast haha, I agree with you, but I dont fall into that category as I knew what a floppy was right from a young age
That's nice but seems a little overpriced. I have less than $3000 in my current computer I built myself 13 months ago. That includes the three 27" monitors. I do have it clocked down to 4.6ghz currently as once in a while it would hang on restart. >>i7 2600K @ 4.8ghz 1.41v - ASUS P8P67 Pro B3 (1305 Bios), SLI w/two EVGA GTX 570, RV02B-W case, Corsair 950TX, Corsair H70 Hydro, G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB 1600, 3 x ASUS VE276Q monitors, G.SKILL Phoenix Pro 2.5" 120GB (SSD), LG Black 10X Blu-ray Burner WH10LS30 LightScribe, Thermaltake N0023SN Max 4 3.5" SATA HDD Racks, HITACHI Deskstar 7K3000 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s, TWO x SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb, Win 7 Pro 64, G15 & G9X.
Oh yea, I am not specifically getting it from this place, infact I am buying all the parts myself and am going to build it myself. I can get all the parts WAY cheaper than the price in the link. I am just using this website to show you what my computer is going to have component wise Sorry I should have included that I am not specifically going to get it from here
That's a BEAST of a system. there is not a game made that one of those and a couple of good video cards won't run a full tilt. OH ..ok I'll post a pic. One more with one of my first wallpapers
Yes, it is but I don't play BF3 much. I use to do racing sims online for a few years. The one called Live For Speed. Very realistic physics.
Hmpf a mac lover. I bet you enjoy being popular irl too :c damn normals BUT CAN IT RUN CRYSIS ________________________________________________ _
