"Cannot Send Chat Message" Problem

I am having a bit of trouble with the chat.
I cannot send any type of chat message or command.
When i try i get "Cannot Send Chat Message"

Help please?

well, have fun with that.

make sure that your chat is on town (if it is not type /c t) and try chatting in town. not in the wild. also make sure that ur not in a privite conversation with some1

That was just plain mean.

Cant even change my chat. I said all commands too.

what does it say when you try to change your chat?

ask a mod. they will know what to do

Make sure to back up your files beforehand - just in case. 1.4.5 should come out wednesday, but the pre-release is out now. It fixes several bugs in 1.4.4

The server is already running 1.4.5 - so both are compatible.

Upgrading did not help me lol

Have you made sure chat is on with the '/chat on' command?

Again i say i cannot type ANYTHING at all.

Somehow I have resolved the issue! all is fine now!!!
