  1. Hey guys again haha, basically about a week ago my laptop started vibrating. It's an Asus K55 and the vibrating comes in 2 forms - loud and continuous and gentle but faster in short breaks. It comes from the top left corner of the base and is stopped with movements of the laptop like moving in the air, putting it on my lap, things like that. Once I stop the vibrating it comes back and it's SOOO annoying.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong with the fan? I know a few things after a loaddd of research but I'd like to see what you think.

    It's an Asus K55, NVIDIA graphics card, 500gb HDD, 4gb ram, Intel i5, 2.5GHz

    Help! D:
    Haha thank you. :)
  2. Also any programs that I could use to fix it? I tried SpeedFan - no idea what to do with it lol. Anyone else have the same problem/used to?
  3. sounds like you might have something inside dislodged, probably the fan.
  4. There could be a loose wire getting bumped continuously creating the noise, however it is most likely to be the fan being loose-ish. If you want to get it fixed "properly" and be "entirely" sure just take it down to a computer repair shop :)
  5. Yeah, pretty much what I found out. Thanks guys :) Anyone know how get access to the fan on an Asus F55? :D
  6. Since nobody has trolled, I'll save them the trouble: ZOMG ALEX U SHOOD GET A MAC OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!

But on a serious note: I don't know a thing about Asus computers. I've never even heard of them until EMC. :( Sorry I can't help much. Maybe look online?
  7. I used to have an iMac up until recently, when I got this laptop :p Yeah, I've done all the research but no actually fix, just telling me what might be wrong.

I'll take it into a repair shop in a few days, thanks everyone :)
