Ok, so I have 2 res side by side and I was wondering if you can build over to the other one I had someone tell me that you can, but when I tried it I couldn't Something about going up 64 blocks or something
iron farms would be hard, becuause iron golems rarely spawn. i tried to make one on my second res on utopia (type /v 1998golfer 2) and it doesnt work.
Theoretically, you could go up 128 blocks and build across and make a giant platform for farming, similar to what Oleyy did with his shop on 5. (Is that still even around...?) I don't know if you can tunnel under pathways, though.
As far as I know.. you are not going to get an Iron golem to spawn in town. It is currently set to prevent such a thing. Iron farms are more than welcome in the wild though . To answer the original question though, you can build across res's if they are joined by a 'Single' road, not a double one, at 128 blocks in height.
I have seen iron golems spawn in town, a few months ago. however i do not know if measures have been placed to counteract this.
Just to be clear, it's actually block height 129 that you can connect (it's ABOVE 128). Caught me off guard connecting residences before.
