I play on a Computer my mom found at the trash. I upgraded it from 256mb... to.... 1gb! It's all boss now. 2.7ghz procesor 40gb hard drive... idk what else.. It just runs minecraft at like 4-9FPS (In town) Like... 5-15fps in super flat worlds... 0-2fps in the wild. And my internet speed is 5.5mps(It's some wifi from idk who,probably McDonals or w/e)
Wait, so is a desktop a viable option for you? I can tell you what parts you should get because I know a lot about computers. My current desktop that I built was under $1000 and runs MC at 120fps without optifine and When I was first setting it up I was able to download and setup five programs at once.

Have you ever used one for that? Yes the Mac Pro has 2 intel xeon! That's 12 cores I do think that that will handle bf3!
