Went by and got myself a book. Really liking it, however, I'd like to recommend that you use harder colours. The neon's quite hard to look at and makes things harder to read. Thanks for the edition!
I fail to see how this is much improvement over a quick inquiry into the live maps. Plus it looks like it would be a headache trying to keep such up to date as resources in certain areas diminish. Then you would have out of date guides telling you to go to certain places to find stuff that is already gone...I applaud the effort, but seems an extreme amount would be required to keep this relevant. Good luck. KnightZer0ne Tempered Outpost Founder
Fair - However... Resources might diminish, however, a desert will never be completely cleared from sand. I feel that this will mainly be helpful for like, Mesa Biomes, and stuff, as pulling up every live map is a chore. For things like lava pools, which will disappear quickly - Figure it out. I don't feel that the items listed are going away anytime soon. And I appreciate the compliment, I do love the item... Go buy one! xD And I feel like it's more helpful in that you can use it in-game. Maps, you have to load up Safari/Google Chrome/Internet Explorer/Firefox/Etc., and with this you can have it in game. And relevance... Ocean Monuments - It's just to know where these are. I didn't choose things like, there's a Mineshaft here, I chose a Birch Forest here, and while people love tree-killing, I don't feel it will ever go away. But I appreciate the feedback, and the good luck, and I will continue to write as the result of supporters like you. Thanks - And I completely forgot about maps... Thanks...
Looking back - I try to use colors that work, and most do, and that's a great point. The aqua is really clashing with the background of the book. Can you still read it, yes, but I will definitely avoid doing that in future issues. Luckily, I avoided that color in prior issues... Thanks!
Got it and I am impressed. Really like your writing style and selection of stories to write on. Just found the resource I was wanting to get from your directions.
Add large quantities gravel to your next edition :,). Only place I can find with any is the ocean, but it's so tedious to collect from there. I'd appreciate if you considered adding it to future editions .
Gravel might be found where stone is - I don't know if I wrote that or not... The stone means the stone biome, and usually there's gravel there. I did forget about that though, sometimes the stone biomes don't have gravel, and Idk if I even came across gravel... I'll add that to future editions. Thanks for the input!
I picked one up just out of curiosity and I have to say, I'm amazed how much you have put into this book! I was was not expecting so much detail and depth. Must have taken you ages, I thank you for the amount of effort you must have put in. I have since gone back and brought all editions of the inkblob, I look forward to reading them.
I would just suggest to point out which wasteland can be found than selling a book. A free guide pointing out the obvious wasteland locations would be beneficial to our new players who don't know the live map than asking for money for you to help. Just my opinion.
Okay - Here's my opinion. I think you start out with 1,000 rupees to start, and 37 rupees is pretty affordable. The cost is mostly non-profit (I added like 3-4 to ensure profit) but this is more for convenience than a necessity. A new player can get around fine without one, this is to get quick awareness of where what resources are. I don't understand the point in your first sentence btw. Also, you should totally buy one. This isn't pointing out the obvious locations, it's a time-saver, and while it probably could be written a tad more efficiently - It's pretty helpful if you need certain resources. Also - Good point on the live maps. I forgot about live maps, and for people who don't know them - This might help. However, even if you do know, I feel it's helpful for finding stuff around spawn, and you can do it in-game, without having to exit full screen and search up something. And - It tells you the mob spawns (which I kind of slacked on towards the end, sorry) which a map won't. Thanks for your input, I'm still figuring things out. If I do make another one of these I will totally remind the user of live maps. If you have any other comments you should keep me posted! (Feel free to bump this thread but theoretically you should message me if it isn't relevant to everyone )
