I am in the process of rebuilding a redstone machine that I have built previously in the Nether Waste on SMP9. I am not building it in the Frontier Nether on SMP6. A portion of it works as expected, however, another is not. The only difference in design is orientation. The working portion is orientated W-E, while the non-working portion is orientated N-S. I rebuilt the same design at my Frontier outpost on SMP6, and had the same results. I then rebuilt it on my residence on SMP9 with no issues and rebuilt it in the Waste on SMP9 again without issues. Not sure what is causing it when orientated N-S to not work. Could it be specific to the Frontier? I have not tried to build it in the Waste on SMP6 yet.
Believe I tried that at my outpost, however, wouldn't this affect it regardless of orientation? Additionally, I am certain I used /buildmode on the previous time on SMP9. A mob collector.
Qapla'! qatlho'. I misunderstood the significance of the /noprotectmode command. This seems to have resolve it, though oddly, if a piston is pushing a row of protected slime blocks, doesn't seem to be an issue. Just with a column (all in same line as the piston).
