Hey EMC, This is a suggestion i was thinking of the other day. The way it would work, is this; The end portals would spawn where ever, like those Mob Spawner Dungeons, Although these would be very rare, and do not have any pattern. One you find one, it would be heavily guarded and require a group of friends to fight your way to get in. Once you are at the portal, it would spawn a portal in the end (Like the way a Nether Portal works), so you can be far from the main center one for example. The catch, is the portal would only spawn in the end once you activate the one in the wild. The perks of this are; -Ability to find ones and build a outpost/base around it, and have the outpost expand into an area in the end. -Players want to/have to bring friends to fight their way to gain access to the potal. -More portals spread all over the wold, and not in a few rings close to spawn. -Harder to find them, plus the want to build around them once you have them. -Much More! Let me know what you think. This can be built off as well, as there is much you can do. I know many will say its not Vanilla, but Mojang does not design for servers... this is more or less a Server side option, that would increase the players on servers as there is more portals and a more uniqueness in the way they work server side. And with all the stuff they are adding in the end, there is more a need to use the end... ~Finch
I think his comment was that your suggestion is what Dragon Tombs will likely have. If we haven't coded Dragon Tombs yet, what makes you think that suggesting the same thing with a different title would make it happen? In other news, on mumble the other day Aikar said 2018 for Dragon Tombs (hopefully). The community voted to focus on the other things first, so we'll see.
